Urgent Health UK Annual Conference and Awards Dinner: Innovation, Integration, Impact – Mission-driven urgent care
Urgent Health UK (UHUK) is proud to announce its annual conference and awards dinner, taking place on 14 & 15 October 2025 at the Staverton Park Hotel, Daventry. The event will bring together thought leaders, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders from across the UK to explore how urgent care can and is delivering on the ambitions of the newly published NHS 10-Year Plan – and to celebrate outstanding contributions from across the social enterprise urgent and integrated healthcare sector.
This year’s theme – Innovation, Integration, Impact – Mission-driven urgent care – will place the 10-Year Plan front and centre, with keynote speakers including Karin Smyth (provisional), Minister of State for Health, DHSC, Daniel Elkeles (confirmed), CEO of NHS Providers, and Peter Holbrook (confirmed), CEO of SEUK, panel discussions, case studies, and sponsor presentations exploring how mission-driven organisations can deliver the transformation needed across urgent and integrated care moving care from hospital into the community, focussing on prevention and switching from analogue to digital. Topics will include:
- Social enterprise in the new NHS model – how members are already delivering neighbourhood health and care services
- AI and Triage technology -reshaping clinical judgement and risk in urgent care to reduce pressure on emergency departments
- Tackling inequalities and improving access to primary care
- Building the urgent care system patients deserve, reducing pressure on A&E and ambulance services
Hosted by UHUK – a partnership of urgent healthcare social enterprise providers covering 70% of the UK population – the conference will provide an invaluable platform for networking, sharing best practice, and shaping the future of urgent and integrated care.
The evening awards dinner will recognise excellence across nine categories, including Digital Impact Award, People First Award, Innovation in Action Award, and Equity in Healthcare Award. Now in their fourth year, the awards are accredited by the Awards Trust Mark, a not-for-profit accreditation run by the Independent Awards Standards Council.
