East Lancashire Medical Services (ELMS)
East Lancashire Medical Services (ELMS) has been delivering healthcare to the Pennine Lancashire community since 1994.
ELMS is a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefits Societies Act 2014, operating on a not-for-profit basis and owned by its members based on a nominal £1 share each.
ELMS deliver healthcare to the 550,000 population of Pennine Lancashire 24 hours per day 365 days a year as an independent healthcare provider delivering an Integrated Urgent Care service comprising GP Out of Hours, Clinical Assessment Services, Care Coordination and an Acute Home Visiting Service. We work in close partnership with the ICB, NHS 111/999, NWAS, East Lancashire Healthcare Trust (ELHT) and other local providers across the local health and social care system.
